KCA Players

The KCA Players are the resident drama group at Kinson Community Centre in Pelhams Park. When the Community Centre first came into being in 1952 we were the first group to get established and have been going strong ever since. We are a small friendly group producing 3 plays per year in March, June and November and we are looking for new members. But don’t worry if the thought of learning lines and appearing on stage seems daunting we also need set builders, painters, technicians, stage hands etc. Contact Angela Westwell or Maggie Watton in the Community Centre office now for details and join in the fun.

Out of Focus

A Comedy by Peter Gordan

An unfortunate over-booking of the Church Hall results in a gathering of a wonderful mix of local characters, ranging from Evonne, the nervous Vicar's wife, to Leonard, a man intent on delivering a talk on steam locomotives to anyone who will listen! Eventually they all unite to produce a pantomime but, as rehearsals proceed, alliances are forged and switched as the opening night looms. Events culminate backstage after the final performance.
